Even in an On Track Life, A Little Drama Must Fall

No matter how much you prepare yourself, at some point even The Best Laid Plans can end up in the throws of chaos.

This was the case for me last week. I prepared a topic for this blog & then BIG NEWS hit & I spent most of the week scrambling. That’s what makes life interesting, how you recoupe from the impromtu hiccups that come your way. As important as all of your plans are, it’s incredible what you can move to the back burner when

Illness strikes your house

A child takes a tumble (like tripping over their own toy the left in the path to the bathroon)

Someone (other than well organized you) can’t find their OH SO IMPORTANT something or other

An unexpected visitor stops by

You get a long distance call (that’s actually for you & not from a telemarketer)

A massive project comes home from school that must be completed by the next morning

There’s a game change for someone in your household

IT’S A SNOW DAY

You receive sad news IE there’s a funeral you have to attend

You receive GREAT NEWS IE you’re part-time job wants you to take you on Full Time (which means leaving your current Full Time job)

& yes the last point is the one that threw the ON TRACK gal, very OFF TRACK last week. So this is my apology blog & within a few weeks I’ll need to change my bio to a

Mom that works a Full Time job, suddenly has most evenings & weekends free, so she can spend more time organizing for the women’s group, has more time to plan Events, will blog more, is on Twitter constantly & her favorite of all GETS MORE TIME WITH HER SON & HER FRIENDS!

It took one day to throw my whole week Off Track, & although I can’t promise it will never happen again, it took only one week to be back On Track again.

How do you bounce back when things are beyond your control? Start by taking a deep breath & jump back in!
