Goodwill
“We make a living by what we do, but we make a life by what we give.”
Winston Churchill
When we first embarked on this path, we knew it would come with great responsibility. A responsibility to share, give and help. Watch this page regularly for our contributions.
We’ll also post links to great charities near and dear to our hearts.
Committed to helping every child succeed in school
Best Tools for Schools is committed to helping every child succeed in school. You can purchase a kit for a child in your school by clicking on the appropriate icon on the purchase page. Best Tools for Schools subsidizes the cost of these donated kits so they are sold to you at a reduced cost. If you don’t have a school age child but would like to help out anyway, please contact us at info@toolsforschools.ca or at 1-866-980-1133.
United Way
What do you want your community to be? That is the question United Way Ottawa is asking and we have an answer. We want our community to be a place where every child has the tools they need to succeed in school. In 2009 we partnered with the United Way for the first of four Community Days of Action. 150 local kids received much needed school supplies through the co-ordination of supplies through us and volunteers through the United Way. Inspired, we’ve decided to do it again next year calling on our business partners in each of the areas we service to help us out. The United Way is active in communities across Canada. Ask yourself, What do you want your community to be? Get involved, make a difference. http://www.unitedway.ca/splash/index.htm
